We specialize in complex & small jobs that require an array of trade and farm skills – that others won’t touch. From rural fencing, to on-site equipment services, to building one-off for specific needs unique to your job – Awkward Rural Fencing can help you!
We pride ourselves on keeping you – the customer – engaged with our work to ensure your satifcation. We can provide training for those curious about taking on aspects of our work themselves.
Awkward Rural Fencing is part of the ‘Improve with Lean’ business group.
Lean improvement methods are about improving productivity by removing all types of waste that doesn’t provide value to the customer.
What is waste? It’s more than just what goes out as rubbish on Thursdays! It’s too much – transporting, inventory, movement to do the work, waiting and delays, over production, over processing and defects.
Originally developed for the car manufacturing by Toyota, Lean improvement methods have been applied to all industry sectors including healthcare, service organizations, supply chain, high variety manufacturing, customer service… and many more…. including rural fencing!!!
